I cannot recommend Denise highly enough. She was referred to me for Bar Mitzvah planning for my older son back in 2017 and she helped arrange, negotiated, advised and coordinated everything with such skill, professionalism and precision that in the end all we had to do was attend the event and just enjoy it. Naturally when it was time for my younger son to have his bar mitzvah, I knew that I would be using Denise’s services. And I’m so glad again that I made that decision. Lots of people ask if we’re sad now that the wedding is over. No. We don’t miss the planning or the anticipation. What we miss — Denise.

I’d actually been in the wedding party at a wedding Denise coordinated, and I remember thinking my friend, the bride, was particularly chill on the day. So, when it came time to look for a coordinator, my friend shared Denise’s info.

Working with Denise was the single best decision we made.

She never made us feel like what we wanted was out of reach. Though technically Denise was our “Day of” Coordinator, she began working with us a couple of months before our wedding.

A month out, she was in touch nearly every day making sure we left no stone unturned, no vendor un-contacted, no wedding essential left behind.

On top of being incredibly organized, trying to keep us on point budget-wise, having great taste for decor, and putting out our little pre-wedding fires… Denise became a trusted friend. She felt like a real part of our team.

Furthermore, Denise was always bright, cheerful, and funny! We loved working with her. She just gets it. She gets that you’re worried about 100s of people, and spending so much money, and wanting everything to be just right — I think she was born to help couples through their weddings. She’s so good at it, it just seems like her calling.

Finally, the wedding day — Denise was a rockstar! By the time we arrived at our venue, it looked better than what we’d been imagining. She never stopped working and she never stopped smiling. She took care of us all night — checking in, making sure we got a moment alone together and making sure we got to eat, drink, dance.

We really had a perfect day and we credit Denise 100%. It’s been almost a month since we tied the knot and we just keep hearing about how lovely the day was from our friends and family. Whenever anyone compliments us on our music, or decor, the flow of the night and the overall vibe of our wedding — we credit Denise.

She’s a rare find. Again, hiring Denise will be the best decision you make and no matter what she charges you, you’ll want to pay her triple. She just goes so far above and beyond.

In fact, we’re thinking of planning another wedding just so we can hang with her again.

Denise was awesome! Easy to talk to, answers emails timely, and was literally the best decision I made hiring her as my day of coordinator. Initially, I thought I could do everything myself but I realized how important it is to have Denise there to make sure everyone was in the right places, setting up, following the timeline, etc. She made the process a lot easier and I even vented to her a few times haha.

She starts off with these questionnaires regarding the wedding plans but breaks it down so it’s not so overwhelming. These were very helpful because there were questions/items on there that I did not even think of. She’s organized and created a timeline for the wedding day from start (getting ready) to finish.
She was there for the rehearsal and was so patient and kind to my family. For the wedding day, she set up all of my decor. She set up the guest tables, sweetheart table, cake table, candy bar, guestbook table, placecard table, ceremony site, entrance table.. She finished ALL of this on time and even asked my approval of everything before the guests saw it. It looked even more beautiful than how I envisioned it would be. The wedding went by smoothly and many family members approached me on how great our coordinator is. Soooo grateful for Denise, my new husband and I are forever thankful! Her amazing organizational skills saved my life, as she had timelines, informational sheets and lists of contacts available at a moment’s notice that really helped me stay on target with many wedding details that most people wouldn’t think of. The day of my wedding she was phenomenal. I (nor my mom) didn’t have to think of or remember anything that day and she took care of everything. That is exactly the way a wedding should go- the bride should be left to enjoy the whole day and have a planner take charge of all the details, getting the wedding party organized, etc. Denise is the most warm, friendly and easy-going person which made working with her that much better. I would definitely recommend her to other brides who want to enjoy every aspect of their wedding planning and wedding day.

Denise came recommended by a friend…a fancy, money-spending friend, so I was a little apprehensive about calling her.

Not only did Denise get back to me straight away (unlike the other coordinators that I looked into who took a few days to return my initial I-have-money-and-want-your-business call) but she was also very direct and didn’t give me the runaround. (I can’t stand it when I feel like I’m being manipulated in a business relationship.) She told me her fee during that first meeting and that rate didn’t change one cent, regardless of the number of times I called or emailed her with silly annoying, little questions.

When our wedding venue required us to get a Day of Coordinator, we were worried we would be spending money on something we could do ourselves or have a friend help with. Little did we know how much actually went in to making a wedding run smoothly! The day of our wedding flowed perfectly and exactly how we had hoped. This was entirely because of Denise.

In the weeks leading up to the wedding Denise was in constant communication with us. She emailed forms asking questions about our day, but never too many questions at once so we didn’t feel overwhelmed. The questionnaires were so detailed and really encouraged us to think about all the logistics ahead of time. Having this done early was huge for us because we didn’t have to worry about these issues the days leading up to the wedding. She also communicated with all the vendors prior to the wedding so everyone was on the same page. At the rehearsal, she loaded up her car with all of the décor and accessories and just took care of set up so we didn’t have to on the day of the wedding. She also worked with the florist to set up the décor and it looked so beautiful.

Denise truly went above and beyond to make sure our day was special. We felt connect and supported by Denise before we even got the chance to meet her in person. She would text and email us on some days just to see how we were feeling. The week before the wedding our officiant canceled on us and within 5 minutes of telling Denise this over email, she called us to let us vent and then talked us through our options. She also took pictures and video on her phone throughout the wedding and after the photographer left because she saw moments she knew we would want to remember.

I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to write this review. Denise coordinated our wedding in 2011 and she was the absolute BEST to work with! At first I was really skeptical about hiring a coordinator after looking into some seriously outrageous prices and little communication, but I have to say that after working with Denise I recommend that anyone on the fence about getting a coordinator definitely book with her. From the get go, she offered different pricing options, all dependent on how involved or not you wanted her to be in the actual event, what I especially liked about her compared to others was how open she was to communicating with me. Many others I had spoken to were adamant about limiting the amount of communication we had–this really bothered me, especially considering all of the money we would be paying for their services.

After speaking and meeting with Denise, my husband and I were so pleased with how down to earth, pleasant, and affordable she was–we knew that she was the one we wanted to work with. I was so thankful to have her around as she was always available to answer all of our questions. In fact, initially I thought I would need very little help from her as I could handle all of the details left for the wedding, but I ended up booking her for a longer period of time because of how helpful she was from the get go. She gave us some GREAT options when it came to rental companies that we would need to complete the vision we had for our ceremony and reception. Before the big day she consulted with us about details that hadn’t even occurred to me to consider. I’m so so so thankful for that! I’ve attended some all-out extravaganzas that have been so tacky – think any of Britney Spears’ weddings – that this was a breath of fresh air and brilliance.
